This is the largest ski resort in North America. The terrain is steeper than at most other places. The locals are extremely friendly. Great food. The summers are awesome as well as the winters.

With so much terrain between these two mountains you should take advantage of a lesson. If you do, ask for Valentin. He made such an impact with his half day lesson, I'd go back for more!

If you're new to the mountain and there for 2-3 days, the free mountain tours are a great way to get a feel for the different runs available. The tour guides are all volunteers and wonderful people!

Ski school is top notch. I took Ski School Max4 over 3 days at Whistler as I was travelling alone. My instructors (Cameron, Jungle, and Becky) were incredible and transformed my skiing form. Amazing!

Love weekend getaways to whistler! Plan ahead and don't buy anything from any store in the village. Overpriced, even with strong USD. Love the bars/restaurants though!

Wi-Fi hot spots at the top of the Peak and Symphony Express lifts (Whistler side), where the Inukchuks are, and most of the main lodges.
